Who ıs Prof. Dr. Özlem Köse?

Prof. Dr. Özlem Köse was born in 1980. She completed her secondary education in Ankara Fethiye Kemal Mumcu Anatolian High School. She completed her medical doctor training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 1998-2004. She specialized in Ankara Baskent University Hospital as a Dermatology Specialist between 2004-2010. In 2008, she worked as an observer at the Trichology Clinic at the University of Bolognia alongside Prof. Dr. Antonello Tosti.

Between 2010 and 2012, she fulfilled her compulsory service duty. She worked as a dermatologist at Ordu Medikalpark Hospital between 2012-2017. Between 2015-2017, she taught at Istanbul Kemerburgaz University, Department of Dermatology as a faculty member. She received the best research award in 2013 with her thesis examining trichoscopy findings in differentiating hair loss types. In 2020, she was awarded the title of associate professor in the field of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases. Between 2017-2021, she worked as a responsible physician in a clinic where dermocosmetic applications were dominant and performed many non-surgical aesthetic applications. All dermocosmetic applications, especially Botox and fillers, acne-spot treatments and hair loss are her main areas of interest. She has more than 20 articles published in national and international journals.

She is married and has two children.
