I have been applying nose fillers for about 10 years. I can say that the nose filler is the area that requires the most experience among fillings. The nose region is located in an area where more than one main artery of the face anastomose by merging with each other. The most feared complication in nose filler is the occlusion of one of these vessels, causing oxygenation of the tissue we call necrosis and malnutrition. Good anatomy knowledge, slow injection, aspiration, correct product selection and experience are very important in order not to cause necrosis or any complications.
Another point to be considered in nose filler is that high volume filling is not applied. The nose is a congested area in terms of structure. Unnecessary extra injections, especially at the tip of the nose, may cause external pressure on the nasal vessels and a red appearance resulting in the formation of new vessels, which we call 'neovascularization'. In patients with a very prominent hump on the nose, applying excessive volume to correct it may cause the nose to enlarge.
You can safely have nose filler done in experienced hands, in a short time, without surgery, for suitable people.
