What is excessive sweating botox?

The complaint of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) in these areas where sweat glands are dense limits the person socially and pushes him/her to stay away from physical activities. How does sweating botox work?

How is sweating botox done?

After waiting for about half an hour with local anesthesia, the botox drug prepared by diluting with SF is applied to these regions with fine-tipped needles. The palmoplantar region is an area where the nerve endings are the most and the receptors that allow us to feel are dense. For this reason, the feeling of pain may be more than the armpit area. In people with low pain threshold, it can be applied with block anesthesia or injection can be applied under light sedation.

The effectiveness of Botox application is longer in the armpit area. Results can be obtained up to 1 year.
